Winter time comes alive in the Southern Highlands.
The cold Highland weather lends itself to roaring fires, slow cooked food and delicious wines.
Frank Downes at his Truffle Farm and Centennial Vineyards Restaurant chef Robin Murray have teamed together to give you the Great Highland Truffle Experience during June and July.
The Programme:
8.30am Arrive at Centennial Vineyards Restaurant for Coffee and Breakfast Pastry
9.30am Depart for the Truffle Field
10.00am Upon arrival you will be welcomed by Frank and offered a cup of Truffle Beef Tea
10.30am Become familiar with the Truffle Field
11.30am Warm yourself by the fire with a Cooking Demonstration by Robin Murray of Centennial Vineyards Restaurant
12.00 noon Experience the gastronomic delight of Truffles
1.00pm Return to Centennial Vineyards for Wine Tasting
